Tele-screening  project for diabetic retinopathy patients which is due to pilot execution in the city of Sanandaj, Kurdistan of Iran is being executed with the cooperation of Iran Ministry of Health (Deputy of Health), Farabi Comprehensive Center of Excellence in Ophthalmology, Chams Research Chair in Public Health Ophthalmology and Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Elham Hatef of Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is the executive manager and the international coordinator of the project. Dr. Alireza Lashay, Head of Farabi Eye Research Center, is the senior manager of the project.
